Valentines weekend chocolate festival in Bruges

For two days, from the 13th - 14th February 2010, chocolatiers and chocolate shops from all over Bruges will gather to display some of the world's finest chocolates at the Chocolate Guild's annual Chocolate Market. The Belgian city of Bruges is the perfect choice for chocoholics to spend a Valentine's break. The UNESCO world heritage city boasts its own chocolate museum, Choco-story, as well as its very own official city chocolate, called the Bruges swan. The city even has chocolate-themed walking tours throughout the year, taking visitors on a tour of the best chocolate shops in the region.

Sunparks De Haan aan Zee and Sunparks Oostduinkerke aan Zee are both within 30 minutes drive of the centre of Bruges and great bases to explore the historic city, as well as the many sights of the picturesque Belgian coastline.
