Or you may wish to relax in one of the many beach pavilions. Since May 2004, the beach has also been flying the "Blue Flag" once again. This international quality label is the symbol for clean and safe beaches.

The Kennemerland national park is an oasis for all those who love nature.

In this unique dune landscape you can walk, cycle, ride or swim to your heart's content. And bats are to be found in the outlying wooded areas. Bunkers and tank trenches from the Second World War also provide an interesting historical perspective.

This metropolis has something for every taste. From shopping trips to a diverse range of evening entertainment. But Amsterdam also has a great cultural offering. How about a visit to the famous Van Gogh Museum, for example? Of course, you can also marvel at the sights of interest on a tour of the city by boat. And during the summer months you can also take the Amsterdam Beach Bus direct from the Village to go straight to Amsterdam with no stops.

Even from a distance, the Gothic St. Bavo church dominates the city skyline. On the banks of the Spaarne are the warehouses and imposing apartments of wealthy merchants and brewers from the 17th century. Take your time to browse through the historical streets. You can also admire the picturesque facades, monuments and museums. A wealth of attractive stores entices you to go shopping. And you may wish to take a well-earned break in the friendly cafés and restaurants.

Beach holidays and DTM - there is nowhere else where you can experience this combination so well as in Zandvoort. Just a few metres from the sea, the asphalt strip merges into the dune landscape.
The Zandvoort Circuit has a very interesting track layout. It runs over many hills and peaks. When the wind is blowing it often covers the track with fine sand from the nearby dunes. The Zandvoort Circuit is therefore often known in jest as: "Sand fort".
