UNESCO World Heritage site - Wadden Sea
Discover the Wadden Sea

- National Park museum
Germany's first natural landscape to be honoured by UNESCO. The special flora and fauna are home to around 10,000 different plants and animal species on the land and in the water. Twice a day, the sea recedes with the tide and exposes the seabed. The guide can then show you the unimagined treasures of the mudflats. The national park museum provides even more information about this.
